What to bring on the interview day?

Hi guys,
I'm a girl and I will have my first interview in 2 days. I'm kinda worried and don't know what I should bring with me on the interview day. I'm thinking about a folder with some papers , a pen and my transcripts. Should I bring a handbag to put my keys in it? Any idea? Thank you!

When I had my interview all I took was a small notepad with a few question on it and that's it.. A few people brought a larger notepad but didn't write anything in it

Some schools specify what you should (or shouldn't) need. I know some schools specifically tell you that all you will need is an ID and to leave the rest of your belongings (cell phone included) in the car.

If they don't, I'd just bring a folder with your some copies of your resume (transcripts if you feel it is necessary) and a notepad + pen, to be on the safe side to show you are prepared!

Try and fit your keys in a small (black/safe color) clutch if they don't fit in your pocket!

I didn't bring anything. 😛 I just brought a little purse and that's about it. I saw some people bring notebooks/folders, but I didn't think it was needed.

Thank you! Maybe I will just take the bus( less than 10 mins), so I don't have to worry about my keys. I will bring a folder with me for sure.

Bring a black leather notebook with a notepad and pen. It is a professional setting and I used it to jot down quick notes or questions for interviewers/student panels.

Well you should bring a ID with a photo picture.
Also bring a photo picture that you can give to them to attach to your file. (to put a picture to your app)
I would also read about the specific pharmacy school that you are interviewing at.
Read about their programs and class/ curriculum.
I would also come prepared with a list of questions that inquire about their pharmacy program
Bring a note pad to take notes

Also Ive been reading about interviews that require a test taking portion. So I would come prepared with a calculator ( in case they let you use it), pencil, easer, and a black/blue pen.
I have read about math exams and essays which are similar to the PCAT exam

For other harder schools like USCF, I have heard that they question you on your knowledge of the pharmacy field. They will ask you what the top 200 drugs are? Or do example if a patient has hypertension what is a suitable drug for the patient and why? These questions are for students who lack extensive knowledge working in the "real pharmacy setting"
Has anyone been grilled with questions like these? ( I've heard of few but it does happen)

Isn't this putting the cart before the horse? The answer that came to my mind was an ACE inhibitor, a beta blocker or perhaps a calcium channel blocker, but what the hell do I know? I am still prepharmacy and have a tenuous grasp on how these drugs interact with the complex physiology of the human body; this is the whole reason I am pursuing a PharmD in the first place.

I realize it is a hypothetical scenario, but you have absolutely no information about the patient's vitals, labs or medical history, so how are you supposed to make these assumptions as to what an appropriate regiment would consist of? I think a more appropriate question would be what is the root cause of this patient's hypertension? Perhaps there are factors that can be addressed that will rule out the need for a pharmaceutical intervention in the first place (obviously not in all cases). It irritates me when this occurs because many patients do not take steps to better their situation because they assume the medication is "taking care of things," which often leads to the root cause becoming a problem compounded on itself. But again, what do I know? I am only prepharmacy 😳

Hankerchief for dabbing and spotting runny sweats from my face, scalp, neck...Why? Fight or Flight Reaction caused me to sweat profusely under stress. Non-controllable sweat. I was standing in cold winter air for 10 minutes before the interview and still had runny sweat during the questioning time...I wished someone mentioned this so I would prepare...I never knew this would happen to me until it happened...(and I had no problem with sweating during my years working as experienced salesperson).

You and Future Interviewees have been warned...yes....I mean you, you are reading this because you will have interview very soon...Good luck and please post back here about your experiences to help others...Thank you very much in advance...
