Hey guys, I am looking for suggestions of what to do while I am on the waitlist. I only had 1 interview so far, and I don't think I will be hearing back from the other schools based on my stats. Therefore, I am just curious what I can do to improve my odds. Thanks guys

I'm in a similar situation with my top choice school. I think best case is to update them periodically with any information relevant to your application (e.g. new class scores, continuing shadowing, new research position, research publications, etc). Staying in touch with them shows you're genuinely interested.
But since it's NYU, I wouldn't worry too much. Like I said before, lots of people are passing on NYU and so the odds look ever in your favor.
