so this is my problem, I'm graduating in 2008, earlier than I had originally thought...so I should apply in the 2007 cycle to matriculate in 2008 right? The problem is, I won't finish my pre-reqs until july and can't take the mcat until july/august AND my current gpa is a 3.58 and science gpa 3.33...should I wait to apply in 2008 so I can bring my gpa up and when i know for sure what my mcat score is?...I just don't think I want to take a year off, and my parents DEFINITELY don't want me to take a year off. advice?

I would go ahead and apply. I think your GPA is ok. Schools will know your prereqs will be finished in July...you can even submit the AMCAS after your grades come out. In either case, you'll have the grades for secondaries.

Taking the August MCAT is your only concern, but I'm not sure how bad that is (there are a million threads on this)...don't the scores come out quicker with the electronic MCAT?
