Hi everyone,
I'm sure this questions has been asked many times in the past, but I wasn't satisfied from the search result, so I'm asking it again. Hopefully please someone can help me.
What book or what do you go by for Height of Countour in Dental Anatomy? I read 1st Aid, Kaplan Review, DentEssential, and my txtbook. They all have different HOCs I don't know what to do about this. I haven't done enough old exams to figure out what's the test's theory.
For Mesial-Distal HOC, 1st Aid has this:
Maxillary: IJ, JM, JM, MM, MM, MM, MM, MM
Mandibular: II, II, IM, MM, MM, MM, MM, MM
And it says, for all posterior teeth, lingual HOC is in middle 1/3, but isn't there an exception of mandibular 2nd premolar lingual HOC in occlusal 1/3 or something?
And Kaplan has something very different
I'm taking my test in July, trying to study has hard as possible now.
Any help on this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot!
