Mast Cell Tumor - "You may look innocent, but we're not buying it. Deep down, you've got an evil side - one that involves plenty of histamines, inflammation, and headache. Your favorite breeds are Boxers, Bulldogs, Pugs, and Boston Terriers. Like an uninvited guest, you tend to overstay your welcome and complicate everything, including the healing process after surgical removal. Petplan Pet Insurance reports they've already reimbursed numerous claims for mast cell tumor surgeries this year - one on a Border Collie Mix totaling $4895.50 and including cyber knife radiation! MCT, you're a persistent little bugger, and while we commend you for your stubborn and dramatic presence, we can't help but wish you were a lipoma. Thanks for nothing, MCT!"

Somehow I knew even before I took this that I was going to be a lipoma :rofl:Especially since my first thought when I read the title was "Well obviously I'm a fat lump :rolleyes:"

For the curious:
Lipoma - "When it comes to lumps and bumps, you're kind of the teacher's pet. You like to stay out of trouble, and the pet owners and veterinary professionals of the world love you for it. You tend to be easy to aspirate, benign, and cooperative during surgery. I can almost guarantee your favorite breed is a middle aged Labrador Retriever. But we should know better than to take advantage of your friendly demeanor. A mad lipoma is a bad lipoma, often showing up in areas that impede movement or even turning out to be liposarcomas! You're one of the nice guys, but you're also a force to be reckoned with!"

I'm an abscess too! "You show up, make a scene, and then quickly exit before any of us really even knows what happened. You're quite the rebel, the way you raise temperatures, resist antibiotics, and occasionally rupture on your own. You like to put on a show, whether it be chunky, liquidy, or a little of both. People tend to have a love/hate relationship with you. To some, you stimulate a gag reflex. To others, you are a beautiful gift from the veterinary Gods. Your favorite animal is an indoor/outdoor cat who owns the title of the neighborhood bully. You may be a lump (for a time), but thank gosh you're (usually) easy to squish! That being said, Petplan once covered a claim for $13,841.50 for a non-healing laceration/abscess that required surgical debridement, wet-to-dry bandages and vacuum bandage placement. Abscess, you can't sit with us!"

@Trilt , I am a sebaceous cyst too!

"You're unique, but not always in a good way. No two sebaceous cysts are alike. In other words, there are no rules to play by when it comes to you! You may be quiet and unoffending, willing to live out your life and then gradually become a distant memory. You may be a bit of a drama queen and rupture once or twice, then simmer down once we throw some antibiotics and an e-collar your way. Or you may be straight up obnoxious and demand surgical removal. Petplan reports one of their largest claims for a sebaceous cyst came to $2278.48 on an 11-year-old Lab! Oh sebaceous cyst - just like high school acne, you are less than convenient and quite the eye sore!"

Omg at the bolded. o_O:laugh:

I'm also a mast cell tumor!!! I mean, I'm pretty much always tossing more antihistamines in (yayyyy for being allergic to everything...), so this is probably pretty accurate:
Deep down, you've got an evil side - one that involves plenty of histamines, inflammation, and headache.

I'm an oral papilloma!

"You're like the guy at the gym who skips leg day - you might be intimidating at first glance, but once we figure you out, you're pretty dang harmless. The way you show up and try to freak people out is very attention seeking. You're open minded and you don't discriminate - you're willing to infect just about anyone who drinks out of the water bowl at Doggie Daycare. I hate to be the one to tell you this, but you're basically just a glorified wart!"

Mast Cell Tumor.

More importantly, what drove the quiz creators here exactly? How do you even become curious about the kind of tumor you are?

I think about it all the time. I'm very happy to ease my worries and know, once and for all.
