I AM RETAKING MY DAT FOR THE THIRD AND LAST TIME i HOPE, I HAVE SUBMITTED EVERYTHING IN, AND MY APPLICATION WAS SENT jUNE16, AND THE SCHOOLS THAT i CONTACTED ARE WAITING FOR SCORE, MOST SCHOOLS SAID TO FAX RIGHT AWAY. MY Q HOW LONG DO YOU THINK IT WILL TAKE BEFORE I HEAR BACK????

when are you taking the DAT? it will take approximately 3 weeks for your official scores to be sent to the designated schools after you take it.

some schools may invite you for an interview based on your faxed scores... whereas others will wait for your official scores to arrive from the ADA before making a decision on your file.

You should realize that for many schools now, no matter what happens, your 3rd time taking it will HAVE to be your last time. Good Luck.

you are only allowed to take the DAT for three times, before you need to petition the ADA for another chance.

Maybe it is a wiser decision to wait a year study hard and be first to submit comes may. It is getting real late into the application cycle. Unless you have a killer gpa and killer DAT i would think about taking a year off to study for the DAT.
