Is that really such a bad thing? In my opinion, it is not.

Clearly it causes some type of confusion. It's bad enough that other professions have inconsistencies. If the profession could get together and agree on a unified education and degree, it would make things not only easier and less confusing, but give us even greater professional respect. There are big changes coming to dental education and the profession.
