What's your favorite drug rep pen?

I have a zyvox pen, it has the nice weight on it.

I had 2 but my mom stole one. :meanie:

Invega makes a nice pen. Really solid and writes well.

Does anyone else have to use blue ink on their psych rotation? I've been chastised several times for writing in black... 🙄
 
I love my purple Nexium pen with the purple ink and purple cushion on it.
 
Best one I've used so far is the red Dacogen pen. I think saw a nephrology attending with the same pen in green, I almost asked him if I could have it but thought better...
 
Kyphon has such a cool lava lamp like pen. Of course the viagra pen is a good runner up.
 
They are all great compared to the blue Lunesta pens I got last year. I got tons of them and every one of them stops writing after about four sentences. I started carrying them around in my pocket to give out to people who needed to borrow a pen and gave them a cheerful "awwww....just keep it". I secretly laughed knowing of their impending frustration.

As much as I hate to admit it, the nuvaring pen i got about a year ago was awesome! It was the only good thing to come out of OB/GYN.

I love the ambien CR pen that I use. Maybe it's because it's fat but weighs nothing, maybe it's because of the giant pink grip and click top, or maybe it's because when I was on FM 6 months ago a rep gave me a box of 50 😉

I'm working in a state-run office, and I think there's some sort of regulation saying that all their documentation has to be in blue.
 
Avelox has a very nicely writing pen, very dark thin ink. Primaxin's pen is el cheapo, but also writes very smoothly.
 
Where's the Chantix pen love?

It ran out and although I have never smoked in my life, I am thinking of starting to get another free one when I sign up to quit the next day.

Yeah, the Chantix pen sort of snuck up on me -- it looks sort of goofy but writes very elegantly.

I did have this Levitra pen that was just the greatest pen ever. It wrote like @#$% but it "flipped" open. I should say it "grew" open, hilarious because the pen would slowly rise out of the body of the pen with a Levitra style "lengthening" effect. Old Woodrow Wilson would be proud. :laugh:

Seriously though I recently acquired this really nice metal Bystolic pen that writes smooth and has a metal body, good weight, none of that plasticy crap.

when you write in blue you know that your document is the original.

i love my merrem pen. and i got a nice frova pen that writes in blue gel ink.

Levitra is a quality show pen def....but for everyday use.. Ranexa is a quality gel pen and Chantix is a quality reg ink pen...I use Benicar sometime too. You can get free refills at www.cotapaxi.com
 
I had a really great Seroquel pen that was my favorite. I liked it so much that I managed to protect it from being lost or stolen by an attending until it died a natural pen death after 9 months or so. I really miss that pen.
 
the blue one with the pink grip? great pen. stole it back from a general surgery resident one night who "borrowed" it from my coat pocket, and somehow it ended up at my brother's house in another city. curious.
 
The Levitra pen.... because it pops up like a you-know-what *snicker* (my mind lives in the gutter). Absolutely horrible to write with, but entertaining for a whole 10 seconds and makes your friends giggle. 😆

Really? Your Tygacil pens work? Tygacil were the crappiest drug pens I've ever had, the ink kept skipping after the 3rd day of using it. I managed to obtain 3 of them, and they all did that. Their retractable name tag holder I got also broke after having it for 3 weeks.

I got a great retractable sharpie highlighter by Opana, and I love my retractable Lovenox Sharpie permanent markers.
 
The Gardasil pens write nicely for me. I have a Benicar pen actually that's probably my favorite, but it's almost out of ink. Zocor makes a nice simple pen as well.

The gel pens are usually terrible.

I've got a huge box full of drug rep pens I've accumulated during the years I worked in a FP clinic.

I have two Tygacils left after giving some out. My pens are great!

I will replace the ink in them somehow when they die! The tiger pen will remain!!! Love the tyga!!

I thought they were the coolest looking pens, and I wish mine worked, but if they had worked well, they'd have run out a long time ago instead of just being back up pens with which I get annoyed, but keep around since they look cool. I love tigers.

i have too many to pick a favorite, i have my 600+pen collection in a couple of shoe boxes under my bed. i will make millions from pen collection someday. watch out for me....i am lurking...i will find your pens, and i wil steal them... as i've done to countless fellow students, residents, and attendings.:ninja:
 
some rep gave me a thin silver pen with a really bright led on 1 end.
