How long normally does it take after the interviews, for the dental schools to report to you that either you have been selected or rejected?

It can vary over a wide spectrum. If you interview prior to Dec 1 and are a high draft choice you might be contacted by phone on Dec 1. From that point on, you may be notified of an acceptance after your interview up to the first week or two after school actually begins.

hypothetically speaking.
if i get an interview around january 10th, when will the first date to receive my acceptance? will they give u any response while they are "deciding"? is it a good idea to bug them?

It really depends....if you are lucky, some schools (adcoms) might will tell you during/after your interview that you will be accepted.

thx, hopefulgirl
for the people who get interviews before dec1st, will the adcom still let them know about their acceptance?

will they change students' acceptance before dec1st? like a student originally got accepted, but later on rejected if there are more qualified students? this is before the offical acceptance being mailed
