Hello! So I am confused about the AMCAS application. 1.) When can I send my transcripts( I have already graduated with my Bachelor's degree)? 2.) The AAMC website says to use a transcript request form...Do i give this to the registrar at the respective school I attended and they send my transcripts or do they give me the transcript(s) and I have to send them? 3.) Do I have to submit my application and then send my transcripts or can I send them before I even begin the application?

I know this post is from a week ago, but I'm just now seeing this and wanted to help out.

1.) When can I send my transcripts( I have already graduated with my Bachelor's degree)?

You are allowed to send your transcripts in when the application opens up in early May.

2.) The AAMC website says to use a transcript request form...Do i give this to the registrar at the respective school I attended and they send my transcripts or do they give me the transcript(s) and I have to send them?

In my experience, this varies from school to school to school. I graduated years ago, had to submit transcripts from 4 different universities, and they all handled this transcript request form differently. One school had me email the cover page directly to the student records office, another wanted a fax, another had an option to upload the cover page when I requested the transcript, and another wanted it mailed directly to them. Check how your school handles them.

Also note that your transcripts must be official copies, which usually means going straight from the office to AMCAS without passing through your hands.

3.) Do I have to submit my application and then send my transcripts or can I send them before I even begin the application?

You're allowed to submit transcripts as soon as the application opens. You do not have to have a completed or verified application for them to assign transcripts to your application.
