How do we know which immunizations are required and are they the same for all pharmacy schools or does each school require different shots?

Do we get them done before applying, during, or after acceptance into pharmacy school?

Lastly, Could you get denied entry if you do not have your immunizations completed before starting or will they still give you time?

Please comment.

Each pharmacy school has their own requirements, although most will be similar (Childhood series, Varicella, MMR, Tdap, Hep B). Once you get accepted to a specific program, they will send you information about immunization requirements. If you are missing shots or titers before the due date, the school wouldn't deny entry (at least at UWash...) as long as you update them on when you will get them done. You shouldn't have any problem getting the shots done if you are missing any. Some schools may be stricter, but as long as you are proactive about it once they send out the info, you shouldn't worry.
