when is the BEST month to take step1 to get a HIGH score

is there a certain time to take the test, which is "rumored" to not only get u a high score, but an easiER test? I know certain months (jun, jul) are high yield months in reference to test takers--does that affect anything? Are the scores much higher in those months? Can someone elaborate on the stats of test taking months--and how it can affect your score. I am a bit dumbfounded in this topic. Thanks.

I've heard that everybody who tests in January gets a 250+, but it could just be a rumour. 🙄

Yea I know 99% of yur score depends on what you know, come on now. However, there is that 1% which is skewed based on the number of test takers and they're relative scores, eh? I guess what I am asking is that are high yield test months subjcted to be more difficult than others? Obviously, this is very arbitrary and deserves a "what's the point of all this" remark--just for curiosity sake.

They base your score not on the group with which you test exclusively, but the previous year or more worth of testers. It doesnt matter when you take the test.

You get a special exemption if you take it during the slim window of February 30-31.
