Hey everyone!

I am debating whether to take the PCAT on November 4th or January 4th. I have not taken microbiology and calculus in three years  so I am leaning towards January in order t have more time to go over those (also because math is not my strong point). But, I am wondering if 5 months is too long to study and to retain the information in time for the test.

What are your thoughts? Thanks for the help in advance!

I think 5 months is perfect to study for the PCAT. Calculus is less on the test than before so you should just definitely focus on the main points.

if you were hoping to apply this year, I would advise you to take PCAT in November.
if you were hoping to apply next year, go ahead and allow yourself some more time
