hi,
I would like to know if anybody has applied for private loans. I CALLED UP FINANCIAL AID OFFICER AND SHE SAID THAT WE CAN APPLY FOR PRIVATE LOANS NOW. THEY WILL NOT SEND us ANY LETTERS REGARDING THAT. If anyone of u know info about private loans, please reply.

I am on H4 visa..i applied in citibank last week and got their preapproval letter...now i have to send my I 94 and cosigner's INS ..then they will give the final approval..i applied online for the loan and got their preapproval in email and also the customer Id number. Hope this helps..

What do you mean by cosigner's INS? If my cosigner is a citizen, do I need to send anything to prove so?
