The next application cycle will begin this summer. Check with PharmCAS about June or July to see if they have info on when the cycle will be open. I think it was in August last year? Something like that. I had my PharmCAS submitted by September. The earliest school's deadlines are in November. Check with non-PharmCAS schools individually, but usually it will be in the summer or fall the previous year. So start applying in summer and fall 2006 for classes entering in Fall 2007.anhxduy said:

The PharmCAS application cycle started in June for me, so yes, it probably is too early to apply now. What I would do at this time if I were you is:
1) Start working on a personal statement. For some people it seems to come naturally to them and they don't take that long to write it. For me, I locked myself up for the entire month of July to write and refine mine.
2) At this time, you might also want to make sure you have at least two people writing you references. Some schools require three. Some schools are picky about who they'll accept references from. I would browse through PharmCAS and make sure that whichever schools you're interested in will accept the letters of reference from the type of people writing them for you (e.g. for USC, "Not Accepted: teaching assistant, pre-health advisor, politician, friend, family friend, co-worker").
3) Perhaps look at this year's supplementary application questions for the schools you're applying to and consider what answers you might give. I wouldn't necessarily say to start working on formal answers since they might change the questions this next application cycle (?), but at least know what you want to write.
