That's not the easiest question to answer, particularly because a lot of people here applied on the web last year, which was a nightmare, due to problems with AMCAS. They kept changing the earliest day to submit it, there were website loading problems, application accessibility problems, submission problems... Not only that, but even if everything had gone smoothly, it's an individual situation, because everyone takes a different amount of time to write the personal essay(s). If you have all your transcript info. with you and handy, and your statement is already written, I would guess that it would take a couple of hours to get it filled out. You don't have to fill it all out at once though. You can complete a portion, save, and come back later to finish.
