Where Are All the Non-Science Majors/Double Majors?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.

Hmm, am I the first business major here?

Finance, BBA

Music and German.

I added the German major b/c I decided I want to live in Germany next year. Unfortunately, I won't be able to finish my pre-reqs, so I'll need another year of classes before I can apply to med schools.

Wir sollen ein SDN Stammtisch erfinden.

I'm a double major with Biomedical Sciences and Psychology.

I'm still trying to figure out this whole med school thing with what helps and what doesn't. Does having two degrees when I graduate help me out at all with med school admission? I'll have a BS in BMS and a BA in Psych. I'll probably have a 3.9 overall GPA when I graduate, if not, then like 3.87. BCMP GPA will be about 3.87 as well.

Crap, should I be majoring in more than one thing? 🙁

Major: Biomedical Science, English Lit

Minors in Spanish and Latin American Studies

I just wanted to come in to commend the OP on his amazing accomplishments. You are pretty much the best med school applicant ever. Congratulations.

That is what you were looking for, wasn't it?

B.S in Microbiology

B.A in Law, Societies and Justice (Thought I wanted to work for an FBI/CIA/NSA-type organization. Turns out, not so much...)

Great way to wind up with a MASSIVE discrepancy between A.O and BCMP GPA's though

B.A in Liberal Arts (Business Com), minors in Anthropology/Social Sciences

B.S. in Food and Nutrition w/ R.D. eligibility

Any other nutrition majors?! I'm so alone!!

Psych major here. I was going to be a computer science minor but dropped that to take med school prereqs instead my senior year. My electives are so scattered that I really can't do any minor without extra time in school (changed majors, transferred schools and had to complete two school's gen ed requirements) -- if I could go back and do it over I'd take enough language courses to do a minor in French or Spanish.

There seem to be lots of music majors going to medical school. Pretty cool.

Double B.S. Biology and History.

People always ask me, "Why bio and history?" But it's simple: I like bio. And I love history. And I found a way to make them work together.
