will go to: case western
already withdrew from: indiana

pretty sure im going to withdraw interviews from: st louis, m.c.wisconsin, buffalo
50/50 on: ohio state

any advice?

Of the schools on your list, I interviewed at both Upstate and Case Western. Upstate seemed like a good school, but Case really blew me away. Enjoy your day there!

Yeah, me too. I was impressed with Case before applying, but I fell in love with the place when I visited. The faculty and students really make it an amazing place, and the curriculum is very innovative. Enjoy it, Sandlot1892!!

awesome, thanks. yeah i'm really looking forward to case, it was the only school i scheduled post Oct. 15th that i was for sure going to go to. can't wait!
 
Just withdrew from NYMC, Downstate, Upstate and Drexel (pre-invite at all of them, was on hold at Upstate). A slight tinge of being scary, but at the same time incredibly exhilarating to reject a school! 😀 It enhances the post-acceptance post-coital afterglow. Will probably withdraw from a few more over the next day or two.
 
Drexel, UMDNJ, Case Western, and probably FSU.
 
i've already withdrawn from drexel, minnesota (oos), and stanford (didn't want to write the damn essay).

Its better to decline an acceptance and withdraw if you know for a fact you wont go there, right? Regardless of how early after being accepted you withdraw?

I'll probably withdraw from one or two more, but I need a little more time to think about it before committing.

I withdrew from my interview with Rosiland Franklin... hopefully that helped someone out!

Declined interview at University of Miami, and withdrew acceptance from MCW. Hope it helps!

Will be attending Wayne State, but will withdraw if accepted to Mt. Sinai in late November.

is that when Mt. Sinai said acceptances/rejections will be given out? in late November?
 
That's when they told us the first rounds of decisions will be mailed out during my interview there.

Withdrew from George Washington, MCW, U. Miami-Miller, St. Louis, Feinberg-Northwestern, and OHSU. Declined interviews from U. Illinois-Chicago, NYMC, and Tufts.

Already withdrew from:

Temple (post-acceptance)

BU, Drexel, SUNY Stony Brook, SUNY Upstate (post-interview before adcom made final decisions)

SUNY Buffalo (post-interview waitlist)

Penn State (post interview invite)

and all the rest of schools I had yet heard back from.

Decided to attend SUNY Downstate and put an end to my application process. :hardy: Wish the rest of you best luck and hope I helped some SDNers with my mega-early withdrawals.
 
withdrew from those 4 today, probably 3 more in the near future....

hopefully that will help someone out!! 🙂
