I have heard a lot about needing to know the top 200 drugs and since Im spending my summer on the beach I figued it would be someting to take with me ..something to accomapny the mixed drinks.. :laugh:

Does some company have flash cards or are they just in a reference book? Where can I find them?

I found a site showing the top 300 drugs dispensed in 2004. We just had our drug exam so I was hoping that the ones we were tested on, were going to be the ones high up on the list.

I'm not sure if you're school will do it the same way, but we were asked to memorize the brand name, generic name, therapeutic classification, indications, and dosage strengths. A lot of what you study in the summer will have disappeared from your memory once school starts, but it's not hard getting them memorized again. Have fun memorizing! =)
 
Agree with above - rxlist.com posts the top 300 rx drugs on a daily basis. But...I'm curious - in what context are you tested? Is this pharmacy school or tech school? Do you have to recite these from memory? Do you have to pull them from a list? What is the purpose? I've always been interested in the random memorized lists folks are asked to learn....
