Basement of the library. I need the solitude.

library is closed too
You mean where can you study in the middle of the night? Nowhere, really. If you've procrastinated and now must study at night I recommend getting some earplugs and telling your roommates that you have to study and unfortunately can't come out and play. Then log off of facebook and SDN and force yourself to be disciplined and get er' done.
Must suck to not have a 24-hour library
It must be awesome to have one... how common is that? I thought almost all libraries closed around 10... I thought I was always lucky that mine is open till midnight and even later when finals are close.

24 hour libraries are awesome. But I agree, OP needs to suck it up, plug into pandora, and just get it done. 😉
So I cant study at my dorm bc I get distracted, ihop always has 1000 people, starbucks is closed. Where do you guys study at!?
When I was an undergrad, I studied in an empty classroom in the engineering building. Most engineering buildings are 24/7 so students are issued keycards for after hours. That said, it was uncommonly rare to find all the entrances locked - I remember studying Christmas day. It was nice to have all that time to myself.
Currently, I study in the library of the law school on campus. Like the engineering building, they don't usually lock it and it's not abnormal to find people studying in there at all hours of the day.
You just have to be willing to look around.

Yea, that's a little strange unless the ihop is like 2 feet away from your school.I didn't know people study at ihop...
Wait a damn minute. If you expected to study in ihop, i.e. a public place, what's so bad about studying in your dorm where there's like 1 or 2 other people?

ihop is the best!? coffee, food, no tvs or drunken roomys. i mean its not as good as the library but it's better than the dorm. and it's open 24/7, but on sat nights its packed :/
I study in my comfy chair in my room with some classical music, frack the library and wasting travel time and not being able to have a snack 😵
See if your school has section libraries like chemistry, biology, engineering libraries. Those would be a good place to study.
Also a computer lab, mine had a 24/7 computer lab.

Empty classrooms.

... no drunk roomies? True, just every other drunk person in the county.
Invest in earplugs (not the cheap, foam ones, the wax ones are better). Or do the empty classroom thing, I would just make sure that Security is aware that you are there and aren't stealing stuff.
Either way, tell your student union to get those 24-hour libraries. We have 2 libraries open 24/7 on campus, both function after hours from student union funds to cover for security, etc. No librarians, but rarely do people absolutely need them, especially if you are just studying for a class. One has a 24/7 coffee place in it for finals months. They are wonderful.
I have studied late at night in Denny's before. Just order a plate of food, ask them if it will be okay if you stay for a while to study. The few times that I have done this, servers were more than happy. I left a little extra when I tipped. My friend does this regularly during finals and he hasn't had a problem yet.

I always took 24-hr libraries/comp clusters for granted.
I actually have studied in lab a lot on late nights. Saving time by running two O/N reactions back-to-back in one day... ughhh

IHOP? Is that something people do?
Anyway, yeah I study in empty classrooms or the study rooms attached to my building.

Yup. I'd study at a coffee place way, way, way before I even thought of IHOP or Denny's. It's like intentionally standing in front of a cannon, filling it with drunk people, and lighting the fuse, especially late at night, to me. I am very impressed you get work done there.

I go to my University's Hospital and study in their foyer. At night it's typically quiet and I get a stellar view of the hellipad(Who doesn't love a good helicopter landing/takeoff). When I was studying for the MCAT I had several late night docs stop and chat after recognizing the big MCAT on the spine of the books.
My dorm room - lock the door, put the cellphone in a drawer and put some soft study music on and im good for 5 hours.
library!
