I was wondering where every one chooses to do their studying -is it in the library, at home, bookstore?

I can concentrate and get the most work done in my room at home, but the library is not bad either. It's just that I keep wanting to eat stuff, and at home I can just open the fridge and voila! Also, do you have a computer sitting there on your study desk? Does it bother you? It gives me big problems, and I'm thinking of removing it from my desk when Fall classes start.

I study wherever there's light.

i study on my bed usually. sometimes in the library when i need to study for longer than 3 or 4 hours, but thats only during finals.

I find it pretty difficult to study on my computer desk in my room, I keep wanting to go on the internet or listen to music. The best place by far is the library. First of all, nobody can reach you. At home the phone rings for somebody every 10 minutes and it can get really distracting. Also, roommates can be annoying too. I

See, this is why I keep my study desk (in the kitchen) away from my TV and computer (in my bedroom).

Where I study depends on how far away the exam is. When it's far away, I study at home (err, that would mean I rarely study at home). When it's close, I study with a friend to keep motivated (and from going nuts). Either way I also study at the cafe down the street from my house.

And yes, I agree studying gives you the munchies! 😛

At home I study in my bed, I always fall asleep but then I start studying again when I wake up. If I'm serious about studying I get in a study group and study in a room at the library.

at home/in bed. sometimes outside by a tree or on the grass. sometimes in the bathroom. but never in the library...i dont know what my undergrads library even looks like for the most part...not lieing.

bump...

i think i might have found a solution to my problem...

Library, coffee shops and bookstores.

wow, so many people study IN bed?? 😴 😳 My neck and back get sore from that heheh.. not sure, but I prefer elbow-room and a good clean desk space.

What is your problem? computer!! right?

At home on my bed ... I don't like studying at the library.

I consider my home a place to drink alcohol, watch TV, be a bum and sleep.

When it comes to studying, I'm off to the library.

I dig the library, my desk, my couch, or a more recent discovery: coffeeshops. Sometimes a lil' caffeine goes a loooooong way :horns: When I study in my bed, I tend to just want to go to sleep.....I guess its too comfy of a spot.

My house is where I sleep. I always study at the library or some other quiet place on campus. It keeps me focused.

library or home ... depends on the subject

24 hour library, local coffee shops, next to the lake if it is nice, and law offices (those are the best if you have the hookup)

I should be studying right now....

I like to go to IHOP---lots of coffee, food for the munchies, smoking section, and quiet (late night, no weekends). Oh, and I tip well! 😀

That's funny...I tend to fall asleep at the library  Too quiet, I guess. I have been known to study at Chuck E. Cheese... 😛

Forget IHOP, study at WaffleHouse.

I need to be kept entertained when i study during the day so its ussually a coffee house or the library. The library at Mercer is ussually bumpin. I get the most work done when i wake up early and study around 5am though.

i study in a student union, coffeehouses, or the library. the union is my number one studying spot, cuz you can talk and have food and stuff and there's a ton of room to spead out (plus there's a starbucks in ours). next are coffeehouses, cuz i'm a caffeine junkie. then last is the library, which i only use if i'm way behind or have to study for finals. it's just too cold and quiet there.

I would, but all those hot men that hang out there at 3 o'clock in the morning distract me. 🙄 😀

Perkins is where I go when I've got a big test the next day. Just enough going on around me, but not too much that I don't get anything done. and coffee too.

The library is too cold and uncomfortable and quiet. Can't concentrate there.

If I study at home I fall asleep sitting up. Happened several times.
