Which in-state dental colleges consider in-state tuition after 1st year?

Hello All,
I heard that some colleges will consider you as in-state after 1st year. Is that correct?
Which colleges are those (especially in Midwest and East coast?)

Yes. This information can be found in the adea guide/explorer to dental schools. But don’t let this fool you, the schools in which you can get IS tuition/cost of attendance after 1 year are aware of this fact and generally raise their oos tuition so that it’s in line with the oos tuition/cost of attendance of other dental schools.

UNC, and it’s very easy to get in-state after 1 year of residency.
