a ~3.2 BCP GPA or a 20 DAT?...before June (as an Canadian)

I could take some online courses to bump the BCP GPA (to a 3.30 realistically...and oGPA is ~3.56, sciGPA ~3.50, non-sci ~3.90) OR re-write the DAT and kill it (right now I have 20's across the board except 25 RC and 15 QR but feel like I can improve)

At this point there is only 2 months until the next cycle so which is the smartest aspect to put effort into, and would have the greater impact do you guys think?

Your opinions are appreciated

Thank you

I would personally vote to improve your GPA. However, to be honest with you, being an international student with those scores, it will most likely be difficult for you to get an acceptance.

Your DAT is fine and doesnt need to be touched. but a 3.2 BCP is very weak and needs a post bac or masters to improve. Esp since you're Canadian you'll have a tough time getting admitted to most schools just based on that, let alone a lower GPA.

I'd also vote GPA, however, while your DAT is really good for the most part, that 15 QR could actually hurt (I had a 16, and I think that hurt me for several schools). Tough call, still probably safer to go with raising the GPA, rather than risking possibly damaging anything in that DAT.

Keep in mind that online courses are an absolute NO at some dental schools. You might want to check with the schools you're applying to before you take those classes. Good luck!
