hey all,
thanks always for all your inputs.

my questions is,
i have low GPA (~3.0) but a decent DAT (AA21PAT21).
while i am planning to aplly to dental schools in 2008 summer,
i was wondering which schools i should apply to?

i am trying to limit my choices to around 10.

any help will be greatly appreciated.
best wishes to all

Solid DAT. But unfortunately, you really need to have both now. I would apply to more than 10 schools if I were you to ensure that you get a bite. The avgs in schools now pretty much range from 19-21 DAT and 3.4 to 3.6 GPA. Check out predents to see some schools that take a bunch of pple with lower GPAs. Good luck!

If you have a state school, apply there to up your chances.
Since you still have a year, I would suggest maybe taking additional classes to get your GPA around 3.3ish if possible.
If you absolutely cannot take any classes, you can retake the DAT and try to shoot for a 23, that should be sufficient to get your somewhere even with a 3.0.
