Hi everyone!
I would really really REALLY appreciate anyone and everyone's input or advice on this. If you were to rank Drexel's IMS, VCU, and UMDNJ, what would they be? I live in Texas so location is NOT an issue (move is inevitable). Cost, again not an issue. Education is an investment into our future. And my future is invaluable. 😀 All I am concerned about is the program's prestige/reputation in helping successful graduates enter medical school (whether it be their own school or any other schools). Help, help, HELP! Thanks in advance everyone!

I did the VCU program. VCU is great for people with low GPAs because it gives them a chance when all other SMPs would turn their backs. Their acceptance rate is not that good though because of very lax requirements. Most of those that belong there get into medical school.

Other noteworthy progrmams you may want to look into include BU, Georgetown, EVMS and Cinnci.

Unless your folks are paying for the SMP, you will be singing a different tune when you have to pay off the huge loan you would have to take out for some of these programs.

If you have questions about the VCU program, see the current thread in the post bac forum or PM me.

I am from Texas too, sucks that Texas doesn't have an SMP, well except for the program at UNTHSC but I missed their deadline.
