Anyone else applied to GEMS?

I received a postcard stating that my file was complete on 3/23/05. They pushed the application deadline back to 3/31 (from 3/25) b/c Good Friday was a school holiday and their office was closed.

I'm hoping to hear something soon about an interview. I hope that they don't postpone the interview dates (originally scheduled for 4/18 and 5/2). Have you heard anything?

I received an email on Monday (4/4), inviting me there to interview on 4/18. Seems like the moved pretty quickly (as applications weren't due until Thur. 3/31). I hope they contact you as well... there's still the 5/2 interview date. They may be processing the applications in the order in which they received them. Have you applied to any other post-bacs?

I just got a letter in the mail inviting me to interview on May 2. Do you know anything about the interview as far as what type of biology questions are on the assessments?

Congratulations longway2go! 👍 Hopefully, we'll both be celebrating our acceptances in about 4-5 weeks. I'm interview next Monday. I don't know your background, but you may consider reviewing basic science material from an MCAT study book or old lecture notes. They say that the exams assess basic science knowledge so I'm assuming that a general overview will be sufficient. Good luck!
