Why are there so many May test dates open??

I was just looking at test dates and there's so many open for May! Is that a sign?!!

If I have t0 guess in blind, I would say there are "more" super smart future doctors taken MCAT in Jan, March, and April of 2014.

Or...... most people have finals in May and are reticent to take the MCAT in the midst of that. If you wanted to just go with straight logic.
