you guys have the wrong idea of los angeles, take it from a person who parties there every single weekend... all the celebrities, actors and porn stars don't make up for the fact that most of the people that live there are wannabe a-holes. still, pretty fun party there though👍
 
i;ve been doing just fine for most of my 26 years not having to answer "what im thinking"....

no kidding! before i turned 21, i thought the bar scene was a social scene... but in L.A., people get offended if you approach them just to chat...not always, but often. its really weird (im not a creepy guy...I promise!!!)

but yea, i still like the nightlife here.

The "what are you thinking " types of girls ?????

Where the heck do you find those ? I thought they were extinct.

All the females I know learned this basic principles:

1. Clingy = bad

2. Ignoring him = good

My ex used to cry occasionally because of how little attention he would get.
 
I think this thread should be made into talking or chatting thread. It's be nice to have a chatt on this forum dedicated specifically to pre-pharm students. That way potential future classmates could get to know each other better.
 
This thread made my lunch break at work more enjoyable experience today. Lol...Don't get me wrong I loove my job.(Kinda)
 
Umm..interesting direction this thread has taken. :laugh: Anyway to the OP, though your GPA is solid for pharmacy school, it is nowhere competitive. Especially if you only applied to 2 schools in Calif, the odds of getting in are very low. Because the term for applications to matriculate Fall 08 is pretty much over, you should apply early this coming term. PharmCAS opens in June or July I believe. Apply to more schools and take your PCAT to apply out of state. Applicants who get into schools in Calif normally have a higher GPA than you. Hope that helps. Good luck!

Yeah.True.Just in general the less you show him you like him the more he jumps around you.
 
you women are evil, i wish they invented a mind reader hat or something.

I tried the reverse principle on my gf, and all it did was land me in the dog house.

really? none of my past gf's were evil...its kinda why i enjoyed my time with them.

these mind games, if you go out of your way to play them...theres obviously something wrong with the relationship. i have zero tolerance for them

I don't like to admitt this too often😉, but I am in a nice loving relationship that will probably result in the engagement soon.

My bf is taking classes and learning Russian just so he could meet/talk to some of my Russian relatives. An American studying Russian is unheard of so I am pretty pleased.

Just out of curiosity, would you be willing to learn a different language to meet/talk to some of his relatives/friends if they spoke a different language?

Maybe you guys could download one of those chat programs and exchange handles. Then you could chat incessantly about nothing without involving other people. 🙂

To others: sorry if our chatting pisses you off. I still think this thread is better than a hundred of "what are my chances " or "what are nonpcat schools ?" threads.

In my case, I'm still trying to pick my poison. I've never been drunk. One of my roommates got drunk recently and puked in his bed. It didn't seem like something to be proud of; in fact, I pitied him.

Had to log on again to respond. I have drunk beer. I just said I have never been drunk. I also don't know what kind of alcoholic beverage I like, which is why I'm "still trying to pick my poison."
