Why do SDNrs always add their stats as qualifiers when its irrelevant to the questions they ask?

If I had the stats of some of the SDNrs I'd probably be flashing them as well. There are quite a few very sharp people on these forums... Really though, why does it matter? We are all trying to get in to medical school. If someone does well on an exam/ECs/GPA/whatever, its often a positive thing to share those experiences with someone. SDN is a good outlet for that. While it can occasionally come off as cocky, it is a good life lesson to learn that not everyone behaves in a way you would like them to.
 
Stats are relevant to 8/10 of questions asked on here. It's also an anon forum so why not show off 😎 (I know your question was a joke!)

Misunderstood my question, referring to when the question/comment is completely irrelevant to stats.

You should probably find another way to spin that in secondaries if you want any IIs. PM me and I can help you edit

Excuse me!? Fedoras are guaranteed panty melters. Everyone knows that. Even someone with only a 3.95/527 should be able to figure that out.

If what anonymous people think boosts your ego, you got bigger problems.
With that said, posting ones stats actually helps other members.. Mainly in the EC part of the stats. GPA/MCAT not so much, but ECs help a lot. It gives other pre-meds ideas of what to do.

Why do people keep talking about the size? Remember the shape is also important! (probably correlated w MCAT score too)
 
Hey I have a 3.9/38, and I don't know the answer to this question.

I mean I have 10,000 hours volunteering in an AIDS clinic and I just can't understand why people would do that.
