Hello,

I have completed my B Pharmacy from JNTU-K (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University - Kakinada) in 2016 and M Pharmacy (specializing in Cosmeceutics) from JSS University in 2018. I have submitted my documents to ECEfor General Evaluation to determine if my degrees are equivalent to U.S. standards.

I would like to know if, based on these degrees, ECE is likely to issue a positive equivalency report. Specifically, I am wondering:
  1. Will my B Pharmacy degree from JNTU-K be considered equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or a related field?
  2. Will my M Pharmacy degree from JSS University be recognized as equivalent to a U.S. Master’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences or a related field?
  3. Is the lack of extensive clinical pharmacy practice or internship hours likely to impact the outcome of the evaluation or my eligibility to sit for the FPGEC?

Thank you in advance for any insights or experiences you can share regarding ECE evaluations for Indian pharmacy degrees!
