I learned a lot this first block...biochemistry, immune, histo, micro, OMM...but i have already forgotten a lot of stuff...mostly just details that differentiate making a D on a test and making a B on a test. Other students around me seem to really remember most things....im wondering if this will hurt me when i'm out to do rotations in a few years. I understand that having a solid foundation is important, but people have also mentioned that the 2nd year material is what's really important.
anyone doing rotations have any thoughts?
and when i say "hurt me", im talking really talking about hurting patients...will I mess up and do something bad for the patient if i forget the basic things i learned 2 years prior...maybe i already know the answer to my question (no), but i still have several doubts.
