Sophomore with 3.4x overall GPA science GPA 3.25. A's in all classes, B's in Bio 1 and 2, a C in another science (Ochem) and a C+ in physics
I am a science major so I will get many upper level science classes to also count towards science GPA.

Haven't taken DAT yet.

EC's:

Tutoring, Volunteering with refugees, Volunteering at the hospital
Part of 2 service clubs and had a minor leadership position in one
Shadowing in progress

Hours of research. Two publications of which both I am second author on (Journal for Neuroscience and Springer Translational Stroke Series) Potentially one more publication coming up where I will be first author.

Gonna have to do really well on your DAT, I would also work on getting the GPA up. Apply broadly.

If you keep getting A's and B's, and continue that volunteering, shadow, and research, you'll land many interviews. DAT should be competitive too.

Aim for straight A's in all your science courses from here on out. Bring the GPA up, and perform well on the DAT (20+ scores).
