As my title states, anyone how a sense how fellowship interviews will be held? Virtual would be cheaper, but I feel I'd miss out on parts of the program and the people by not being in person. Probably would want in person if I was choosing.
Will interviews be virtual or in person?

Probably too early to tell. You may have to wait at least until applications go out to get a sense. I doubt programs are even considering this question this far ahead.

My suspicion is that there will likely be both options from some programs, while others will choose all in-person or all virtual.
The current PD of my former fellowship program is a friend of mine and I asked him about this the other day and he said they hadn't figured it out yet.
Note that a lot of places will have the rules dictated by their hospital so even if the PD wants to do all in-person, if their hospital says all virtual, that's how it's going to go down.
