I have Dr Collin's chemistry and I was using my chem textbook to review some stuff. There are some things in my chem textbook that are not in Dr Collin's Review guide and wondering if I should go over them or not, and has anyone seen these topics on the pcat?
-predicting precipitation rxns
-Hess's Law Heat Summation
-osmotic pressure pi=MRT
-solubility guideline( memorize all nitrates are soluble, chlorides are soluble,... etc)
-first law of thermodynamic U = q+w
In terms of doing calculations problems from the textbook (molarity, limiting reagent, % yield, etc) the numbers seem to be in decimals, so is it OK to round. If there is a calculation question on the pcat and the numbers are in decimal and we solve the question by rounding the answer, will the answer choices have a large enough difference so we can figure out what the answer is?
