You'll get varied responses to this and it depends on your particular circumstance, but my opinion is to withdraw from C or worse science classes and D or worse non-science. A C or two in science classes, particularly if it's of the 3-hour, non prereq variety won't hurt you too bad either. You really should try to limit your Ws though.
Sully, keep in mind that IDEALLY you want to have a GPA of at least 3.6 when you apply to med school. So if I were you, I would take the C this time, but in the future I'd get tutoring or extra help before my grade drops to a C.
It's not that it is impossible to get into med school with a GPA less than 3.4, in fact, many people do get in, but the general consensus is that as your GPA drops, your chances also decline.
One last thing, I'm assuming that this is a 3-unit class, right? If it is a 6-unit class then it would be worth taking the W instead of the C.
yeh its a 3 unit class...and what sucks is there is only 2 tests till the final...so basically if u dont do well the first time u are not gonna do great...

Having 2 tests until the final was the norm at my undergrad. In such cases, it would be a good idea to get your hands on the professor's old tests and take them as practice in order to gauge your knowledge. Sometimes these tests are filed in the library, you should check it out.
ONE W would not affect you much if you are able to provide a good reason for taking the W. So ur reason can't be i was doing bad in the class. It would be fine to take the W but think of it as using ur one free get out of jail card. On the other hand if u consistently get As than that one C would not affect you much either.
