I am currently taking comparative vertebrate anatomy and finding it to be much more difficult than I had planned. My states are 3.86 cGPA, 3.75 sGPA, 29 MCAT. I am applying to the OU College of Medicine, and I am wondering if I should work my butt off for a B in comparative vertebrate anatomy and risk a C or if I should just drop the class and get a W on my transcript. Does anyone know what admissions committees think about W's? This class is not a required prereq for me so it will not delay me in any way if I drop it.

If you can come up with a good excuse, just take the W.
