Worried about LOR's?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
just ask any teacher as long as you got a good grade in their class. hey its better than nothing lol. ask the top person at where u volunteered at too.

The only good LOR I know I can get is from my martial arts instructor and I think those aren't allowed.

Did you do any volunteering or take any leadership roles at your martial arts school? Is there any way that your instructor could write an LOR based on that?

Have you had any part-time jobs where your supervisor can write a letter? I used a supervisor from a non-pharmacy job for one of mine.

Did you have any classes in college that were small and discussion based? I used a non-science prof that had me in a class of about ten people. We also had to write journals for that class, so even though I wasn't at his office hours ever, he really knows me. Anything like that in any of your courses?

Ok, this is stupid of me I know. But I don't have many contacts to write LORs. I've never really talked to my professors much and I don't have pharmacy experience, but I have lots of volunteer experience. The only good LOR I know I can get is from my martial arts instructor and I think those aren't allowed. I'm applying for the 2011 Fall term. Is it too late to volunteer at a pharmacy and get a LOR from the pharmacist as well? Is there anything I can do at all?

Thanks

Most professors are happy to help you out.
Just go and try to talk to them about your plan.
