I'm entering my final semester with a 3.4 and the only high-level bio courses I've taken are genetics, biochem, and taking physiology this final semester.

I got a C in genetics, but an A in biochem. From what I heard physiology is very difficult here (I'm sure it is everywhere), so would taking genetics (where average test scores are around 60) over a lower level microbiology class be advised here or can I live with this C?

Thanks

If I were you, I would take the microbiology class and rock both physiology and microbiology! I feel that micro is essential before applying.

That's what I was thinking..but microbio is offered during another class I'm taking and I'm not sure if this other class is required for dental school. The schools I'm looking at just say 8 hours of bio with lab, etc.

Have you heard from other d-students that micro will be essential for d-school?
