Hi I am an img in Canada trying to get into residency. I heard having a MPH degree can boost my chances to get into residency. Is it true? And how will it help my career?

Having an additional degree can sometimes be helpful, depending on the specialty. MPH is no PhD, but can be helpful if you received the degree at a reputable institution or applied the degree to good use (service projects, research projects/publications).
