List this as work experience. It is really a stretch to call these folks "patients" . Were you trained in HIPAA before interacting with them? Did they show you doctor's orders or require assistance due to disabilities? Given that the building is a health and fitness center, I'd go with being more conservative... you can certainly say that you interacted with people who came to the center for PT but calling it a clinical experience is inflating it a bit and that could bit you in the butt.

i'd put it as paid - nonclinical unless if you really worked with the patients, eg. under medical order or supervision from a healthcare provider
