Any Wiche students accepted yet?
Good luck to the OOS applicants these next few days -- and to our mailmen 😳
No mail today 🙁
I knew it was really competitive to be OOS and get a spot, but I didn't realize until tonight that there are only 10 spots!! Woah!
Still nothing...have any other OOS folks heard anything? They told me a week and a half when I interviewed on the 9th...I'm starting to think they're messing with me.
NY is getting quite the snowstorm right now... I hope the mailman can make it!
Good luck to all still waiting 🙂
I am in North Carolina. My acceptance letter came today! I tore it open in the post office lobby and gasped, and then got to share my news with some strangers... they were happy for me. 🙂🙂🙂
I dont think I can get home any quicker! Thankfully I caught an early flight home from Davis I went from -1 in Minnesota and snowing to 40 and pouring rain in Davis... JKIM study lab any day this week?
So has EVERYONE heard at least something? Cause I haven't yet but I'm from a WICHE state...hopefully that's a good thing? I hate this waiting!
Hey all you guys who go to/seem to know everything about WSU...I just need to double-triple check something.
Somewhere I got the impression (don't remember where) that Washington allows one to establish residency after a year, even while attending school. To me this means instate tuition after one year of out of state.
I asked about this during my interview, and at least one of the interviewers confirmed it (maybe both, honestly that part is a blur 😳).
Does anybody know who the best person/place would be to get information on this? This is a pretty big factor in whether I can go to school (one year at $43,000 and three at $18,000 is doable, four at $43,000 is probably not).
At a meeting with the Dean, Bryan Slinker, a couple of weeks ago we were told that a couple of WICHE states had asked WSU not to give offers to students from their states (utah was one he specifically mentiones) due to funding uncertainties. Not sure if those states had gotten back to them with final decisions or not but Barb could probably tell you.
