WVSOM vs SHSUCOM

I have been committed to WVSOM for a while now but recently got off of the waitlist for SHSUCOM (OOS). I am not sure which one to pick because WVSOM has been far more established and reputable but SHSUCOM is new and is having success in atleast what I have seen while also being far cheaper (money shouldnt be too bad regardless of school). I wanted to hear other's perspectives as well to see if there were pros or cons to each and ur opinions! tyty!

SHSU is like 10-12k cheaper but i got family and good support systems near both (couple hours away for both)

When I checked online it said that SHSU would be around 78-80k and WVSOM would be around 96k

Sounds good. If I remember right, WVSOM did offer an instate tuition that was really cheap. Is there a way to establish WV residency while in medical school? Perhaps after 1-2 years? If that’s the case then it could also be cheaper. Above all, go for the cheaper option. Especially with this state of chaos surrounding student loans
