Day 7 Lynch Write-Up

We have reached Chapter 7 in our Tale of Heroes and Monsters. The village was not so pleased with the ending of Chapter 6, so they vowed something must be done.


“Two deaths?!?! This is not good. We must do something!” The first child stepped forward and pointed at Goldilocks. “It is her! I know it! She must die.” The others all nodded in agreement.


Goldilocks had always been an outsider in the village, and no one could quite put their finger on why. Some said her story was simply not interesting enough. Some said that she was actually a naughty little girl that was the acting antagonist compared to the rest. Still others just said it was the feelings she stirred in their guts.


Well, no matter the reason, Goldilocks had dissuaded them from harming her throughout the adventure, but today she was out of defenses. “Bwaahahahahaha! I am indeed the monster that you feared at night, and I care not that you have found me now, for my job has been done. I have eaten all the naughty children and none of you could stop me!”


This was too true. Our supposed little girl had killed four naughty children. Poor Huck Finn, then Edmund, followed by Peter Pan (which let’s face it, that might have been merciful for the children), and finally, in a last death of glory, Max.

Poor Max knew death was inevitable


The little girl threw off her blond curly locks, and removed her innocent face, and let the children look upon one of her true forms, a blank slate that could be morphed into anyone and anything.

The children first reeled back in horror at the sight, but knew they had to kill it. Everyone pitched in and held the shifting monster down while the slowly dismembered its limbs. With one final violent pull, the head of @pinkpuppy9 , aka Bicho-papão, the embodiment of fear as a mutant creature who could become any form of living being while looking for naughty children to eat, was ripped off.

And so it was that the tale of Bicho Papau has come to an end. And the villagers rejoiced for they had lynched "all 4" of the wolves, and even 2 chaos characters, because there should only be 4 wolves. Noobs said it, so it must be true. Congratulations Villagers.

The Mods would like to remind you that NOOBS don't make the rules, or the games. Mods do. And this game is NOT over. That's right. You heard it here first (of course). The wolves are not defeated, and the game must go on.

The villagers walk away from the lynch feeling dejected. SOV comes running after them yelling "wait there is more news". The villagers grudgingly turn around to listen to their grumpilicious mod.

SOV reports the following:
A) when PP died she bled all over the tinker toys, and they will no longer be usable...
(ps- if you search for "bloody tinker toy" a picture of a clown comes up. Freaky)
Also, the mods would like to point out that the villagers/wolves never quite pooled their knowledge to figure out that the tinker toys could not emulate another item in play. For example, you couldn't block because the toy soldiers were doing that...etc. Too bad, cause a lot of you lost out due to that.

But even more importantly, and depressing for the villagers.....

@Mouse2106 , Klaus Baudelaire, a villager has been killed by the mods for inactivity. To be honest, we normally would have killed mouse much earlier, but were trying to be gentle with you noobs. Take this as a lesson. WW is serious business, and mods spend A LOT of time (you have no idea until you do it) creating these games and running them. If you don't have the time to play, don't sign up. If some unexpected life event occurs (and they do), if you don't have the courtesy to inform the mods that you can't participate, don't sign up. And if you do, expect you will be mod killed. And if it happens too many times, you will not be let into games, or you will have a notorious rule named after you for inactivity (see @Foxhunter )

Night 7 Lynch Write-Up

We have DEVASTATING news for the villagers. That's right, @Devastating has been killed. A horrible evil creature has killed devastating. I would tell you more, but my child, child psychologist (must be WZ) informs me that all you children are traumatized so much we need to stop giving all the gory details.

Devastating was in fact Nancy Drew, villager, a mystery solver extraordinaire, who was able to track, and could have tracked down our evil killer if allowed to live.

Note: with her death Nancy takes along the viewmaster which gave random info to the viewer.

Yes. It all comes back to the fundamental point: the dead shouldn't influence the game. If you're doing something that might encourage a player to do or not do something - saying anything, likeing a post, whatever - it breaks the spirit of the rule. It's not so much "don't strategize" as it is "don't influence the game".

That's funny, because Dev was the last one I fully trusted.

I guess I just didn't think that Nancy Drew fit with the theme of characters. Idk anymore...

I literally have NO idea who to vote to lynch. I talked to teepster at the beginning when they said that they were Christopher Robin and I believed them, but ever since Trilt said that they were lying it worried me. And I can't remember but I am pretty sure they fought to save trilt and said that trilt tricked them too, but idk.

Swini, I suspected you before because of inactivity. But I can assure you I am not a wolf. I was reading the posts from the very beginning and I voted to lynch Caiter because they were #13. I changed my vote because they threw a fit about being lynched just because of their number, but then I realized that they didn't have any other defense so I relynched them even when everyone else voted to kill Tiny Tim. I also was the first to vote for hayley and convinced everyone to do the same. The wolves tried to kill me twice but I escaped in a red wagon once and rocky protected me the other time. They haven't tried to kill me recently but idk why... However, I have not received an item recently and idk if the mods are mad at me or if I am being blocked and not able to receive.

excuse me? I cawed to get hayley killed. I convinced everyone to change their vote to kill her. Would I have done that if I wasn't a villager? Pan silenced me with a pie which was PROVEN in the mod's summary. AND THEN WHEN I FIGURED OUT SF WAS INNOCENT, I DID EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO MAKE YOU GUYS CHANGE YOUR VOTE BUT NO ONE LISTENED!!!

Sorry teep, but there is no way you would want to lynch me unless you were a wolf and trying to cover something up 🙁

I'm guessing what we have left on our hands is a convert. A smart wolf would have picked someone we all were sure was a villager from the beginning. Who better than poor Orphan Annie? No one would lynch her!

Why would I be pleased that there was a wolf after PP? I didn't initially suspect them, you are right. But I have been correct SO MANY OTHER TIMES! Lynching me would be a mistake because the villagers numbers are getting smaller. And I SWEAR TO YOU that my "ability" is having an affinity for items! I know it seems like a lie because the wolves used that as their cover, BUT WHY WOULD I USE THE SAME COVER IF I WAS A WOLF?? That would be ridiculous! I will I had gotten a real ability, but maybe that's why I am still alive. Because it is not as much of a threat. I will copy and paste all my s*** if that's what you want.

Why would I tell you that I suspected Dev as a wolf if I were a wolf? Idk why but I never fully trusted them. It doesn't matter now, obviously I was wrong. My mod told me that I needed to not post everything I was thinking, but I thought that would make myself MORE trustworthy to you because I have always had everything out there. Before Kam died, they even said that they threw my name under the bus as a COVER to protect PP because they didn't want them dead. I am not a wolf, and if you kill me that is just going to give the wolf another night to kill.

Without knowing how many original wolves we had, I do think you would be the perfect choice to get converted. Who would suspect you after all that Hazel has been through this far? I think your quick revenge lynch might have sealed the deal for me. (Waffles will be considered if any better information surfaces)

What else am I supposed to do Teep? You are trying to have me killed and I AM INNOCENT! Please tell me what else I was supposed to do! I didn't distrust you until you were so quick to try and have ME killed! I have actually stood up for you before because of our PMs.. But how can I trust you now? I KNOW that I am not a wolf. You hop on your red radio flyer, and lucky for you, as you escaped an attack of some type.
 
When we spoke via PMs, I was convinced that you were a villager. But since then I spoke to Kam who ended up being chaos, and trilt (who played me excellently) who was a wolf. I don't know the mods well enough to know their senses of humor, but wouldn't it be great to change the one person who seems the most innocent out of the whole bunch into a wolf?
Now it may be self-centered to think that I'm just getting brain f'ed over here, but I don't believe that there is a single person left who seems as innocent as you do, and that's why I'm suspicious.

Escaping death twice...lucky for a villager. According to my mentor, it would make sense for you to get converted to a wolf during one of those escape missions.
Also, my mentor pointed out that when people get converted they sometimes lose their ability. Funny you seem to have stopped being able to use your so called item affinity.

I think they put that in there to show that I am "naughty". So I could have gotten killed for being naughty. And I was thinking that I might have been chaos but they told me that I wasn't, they just put that in there for kicks.

Villager who doesn't want eaten by wolves! If I was a wolf I would have just made one up like the rest of the them. I realize not saying my ability makes people question but I am just trying not to get killed in the night because of it.
 
I don't know. Someone is lying but I clearly have no idea who. I am sticking with my vote for now because swini was on the same page. Where is everyone else?
 
@ketoone, what have you done with your item-making ability recently? Last thing I remember is the knife that killed Trilt but we haven't had any mysterious saves since then. Did you lose your ability?
