There was never two brownies given out on one night. I went back and looked at that. SAR received the brownie on N7 and you received the brownie on N8. The confusion may have arisen from the fact that N7 was the one that closed at midday.
Both of y'all did have the correct N7/N8 header though 😉 I made sure to check that first.
@animal midwife has the answer. Protection only protected from kills in this game as a block on Kara would have stopped the burying.

That really was a good game! Thanks mods for making that up for everyone. I’m definitely going to play on the next one, now that I really get how a whole game is played start to finish. I learned more by actually playing, sorry I didn’t do much to help the village and for my noobness hopefully it’ll go away as I play more games.
Oh Kara wanted to, believe me. But we didn't know that conversion was going to be so subtle in the write-up. You're a solid choice for a convert bc you're a good villager (as is shown by my recent conversion of you), so we didn't want to go down that path in case people started convert hunting. We thought converting Mel was crazy enough that it might work (and it did!)
Oh yeah, I never managed to find the convert hint either even though I could feel the conversion in my bones lol think it was already mentioned but lawp dying in that lynch muddied the waters a bit on that statement in...whichever write-up it was
Also the killing off of people after missing 1 vote hurt the village. Which was also suggested by the wolves. Supposedly mods were discussing it already, but if a wolf is suggesting it, it probably is not a great plan.
Something about “was it worth it?” When snowy died I think. Very subtle hint. I don’t think anyone would’ve gotten it tbh.

Replace them then, don’t just kill em off because they’ve missed one single lynch. Especially when other days, they were actively helping wolf hunt. Or give them two or three strikes. Killing them off lowers village numbers for the wolves and brings them closer to winning without them having to lynch or kill.

Yeah I double checked with Genny about the timing and message wording before just going ahead and lynching SAR. Plus she just didn't feel wolfy to me and claiming to have the brownies when she didn't just seemed silly. Probably would have pushed the cheezit train harder if I hadn't been busy having fun all that day 😛 Is what it is lol
