WW: -Omitted Topic-: Game Thread

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
No, but eventually it will have to work. Not like anyone else can be lynched anyway, might as well feel really good about my vote.
Do you have proof of this? What would you do if Stagg lynch avoids again?

So I've got some bad news... for you 😉
You're not going to be able to lynch me tomorrow. Allie and I are neutral masons. You should probably look for some actual wolves.

I know what you're thinking, "How do we know you're telling the truth?" Well, let's see. Who have we tried to kill? SAR. And... no one else. Not one villager. And I pushed to get Stagg lynched. I know that doesn't seem very neutral of us, in fact, it's downright villagery. Well, that's kind of my point. Why do you want to kill the neutral people who are helping y'all out?
I believe they are neutral.
I DONT believe they can’t be lynched. Allie used a potion. Potions would seem to be limited in the number of their uses.
I DONT think we should Lynch them again. I am a big believer in keeping non wolves around cause they aren’t wolves.

I don’t know how we get to act 3 but I want to get there...(for personal reasons as well). It seems all we do by lynching is Lynch villagers right now, so why bother. So I am going to just keepnlynching the wolves. This violates everything I believe about WW, but then this game is a bit out there.

Well you definitely aren't that since saying it on thread yourself results in a mod kill.
directly revealing WHO your character is, could have some positive or negative consequences based on who your character is, so consider that carefully.
Well that is patently false.
1) you can’t directly quote from your role pm, but you can say what your role is.
2) this is not saying who their character is just their role.
3) you can reveal who your character is just have to deal with the consequences,

So all in all, you are 100% wrong. Not that I care but as a formerly frequent mod, I hate when people don’t know the basics of the rules for a game.

Get out of here.
It's 100% true because this mod has been very specific about it in pm. For reference he apparently discussed it in dead chat last game because we are the only site that doesn't have it as a rule. I made a huge stink about it in my pm.

I was told I can imply things. I feel this implies something
This is what I was talking about here.

Not that I care but as a formerly frequent mod, I hate when people don’t know the basics of the rules for a game.
Also when this game is over I hope you realize what a condescending thing this is to say.

@Navilly I told you no one played this way on this site

So how do you explain WZ revealing that she sends items?
Stupidly, it's a rule regarding one specific role. I have no idea why is that is the case and yet here we are.

Edit: I'm not even sure if there are negative consequences for me talking this blatantly about it. I believe that you guys are a pair of bounty hunters, possibly in a two-person pack. But I know for a fact that you're not what you said you were because you would have been mod killed, or told ahead of time that you would be, and thus you would not have stated it on thread.

@Navilly I expect you to tell them to redact as you said you would to me unless this doesn't apply to them because it ISNT ACTUALLY THEIR ROLE
So there’s a technicality I’m exploiting here. We’re not masons in the sense that we started with the same role PM. We have separate PMs and then our pack PM. I feel that the role fits this site’s idea of masons, even though it’s not quite the textbook definition. Is that fair?

Yeah that would be a technicality lol

(still typing away, it's going to be a little bit longer, there are just a few things I need to make sure I am getting in the write up. All results should be out thanks to the amazing Karabiner)

That's actually not masons at all, so saying you are such is misleading tbh. Unless you were told "Allie is x affiliation" in your role PM.

@StayingPositive2017 The traditional mason rule of not revealing has actually been used here off and on. More often in basic games than games like this, but it is a thing, and is part of the traditional parameters of the role.

Why thank you WZ, perhaps you can say it louder for SOV

@StartingoverVet too though I think he was referring to the overall rules of the game and didn't realize you were specifically talking about mason rules

I posted my required clarification; I'm not going to say anymore about it.

Personally, I think my play this game has been in line with my village play, despite being neutral.

My point is if you have separate PMs you cannot know for sure what her affiliation is, whether she might be leaning more antagonist than you are, etc etc, so your vouch is not any stronger than anyone else's vouches for packmates. And I get very twitchy about people using the term "mason" losely, not that anyone here would remember my Dr. Seuss PTSD.

I'm also a mason purist. Neighbors or bust.

“You’re insufferable.” As she turned away from the man, a dark wizard caught her eye. “That bastard.”

She went into a full sprint towards the direction the dark wizard was headed. She rounded the corner, and immediately swung her axe his way. Ice shattered immediately, he had blocked the axe with a make shift ice shield.

She stared him down. “You attacked us, unprovoked. And now I will kill you and take whatever worthless possessions you have on you.”
This is where I'm getting confused, seems to be referring to the attack on the bounty hunters the night before, which was the "demon", but the dark wizard being referred to here is SAR?

“Ah the famed general of Bigantria. Why do we have the pleasure of a personal visit from you?”

“I think you know danged well why I am here. You will be handing back over the princess now.” She paused for a moment. “Ris why are you glow… ah it doesn’t matter.”

Kailvan thought for a moment. “So, general, what was your oaths again. I Have heard Ris say it before. Something about protecting the nation, the queen, AND the princess from harm? Am I wrong? The queen has ordered the execution of the princess. Do you have no honor?”

Kailvan was trying to plant a seed. The seed could grow miraculously over time, or it could whither and die if she had become completely cold of heart.

“I….. Welll…. Its not……” The general was tripping over her words. Her sense of honor had been attacked, one thing she holds dear to herself.

Kailvan saw the little girl approach from behind her before the rest of the people did. The young girl put a finger to her lips, and smiled gently his way. While he couldn’t hear her, from what he could lip read, it looks like she said, “Fa’ren, allow them to escape.”

Out of the wall, a wolf with a dragon tail jumped forward. The general didn’t see it until it was upon her. She tried slicing upward with her blade, but the blade was knocked out of her hand before she could fully react.

“Let’s get out of here while she is distracted. They sprinted forward, past the little girl. Kailvan yelled thank you on the way past. To which she whispered, “Anything for you Kailvan.”

They proceeded down the stairs further to arrive at the cavern from earlier, where the giant cockroach creatures roamed. They could use it to get to Uropt, and finally be in safety. They hopped in to the attached carriage, and made their way toward Uropt

---------------

At Uropt, a bounty had been placed for Kinaristl’s head, and the bounty hunter was more than happy to oblige. The description she had been provided was a faatle of darker colors, a male faatle, almost appearing to be of camouflage type colors.

The bounty hunter searched the city of Uropt through and through, but could not find anyone of that description. But they knew what they did. So they asked if there was an item dealer in town. Everyone pointed the bounty hunter to a person with dark brown hair, a monkey tail, and light green garb.

The bounty hunter finally found this person, and asked if they were Kinaristl. “Yes, I am known by this name, who is asking?”

“But…. Aren’t you supposed to be a faatle?”

“I was a faatle… Now I am something more. Part of something greater than this world.”

The bounty hunter quickly grew bored of the cryptic talk. She raised her poisoned axe to Kinaristl. “Now, ‘little one’, you are going to give me all of your wares.”

“I…. I don’t have wares. I barter to obtain stuff, to sell at a slightly higher price, thus allowing me to travel from place to place. I am a bit of an adventurer.”

The bounty hunter was frustrated and swung the axe his/her? way. Kinaristl dove out of the way and immediately jumped upwards, and grabbed onto an overhanging rod with her tail.

The bounty hunter considered her options, and given the lack of items of value on him/her, decided it was not worth pursuing, and continued out of the city. Kinaristl waited a few minutes, and followed suit.

------------

Our heroes arrived in Uropt and immediately headed outside, with the hopes of escaping the city. They were horrified by what they saw. Fireballs were streaming everywhere. Dark wizards were killing as many towns folk as could be found. Cannons were being shot from airships above. The City was going to practically be in ruin. If that wasn’t bad enough, the smog filtration systems that normally keeps smog out of the cities had been damaged, and smog was seeping in, along with the monsters associated with the smog.

“We need to get out of here now, there is no hope for this town.” Kailvan screamed over the roar of the cannons up above.

They sprinted towards the front gates. Along the way, they brutally demolished at least 100 dark wizards, through the clashing of swords, daggers, and the magic of Keke. All the while, while transporting the princess between Kailvan and Ris.

At the front gates, was not a prettier site. A troop of approximately 150 more dark wizards was marching their way into the city. Keke has had enough. Funneling the most powerful spell he has ever done to this point, he combined the elements into one powerful tornado, which he let loose in the center of the dark wizards.

Within 10 seconds, not a single dark wizard was left between them and freedom.

They were just outside the gates when they saw her. The queen in plain sight. Kulja and Ris were both enraged. Kulja saw the person responsible for destroying his home. Ris saw the person trying to destroy the person he was tasked with protecting.

Ris looked at Kailvan. “Go, bring her to the nearby marsh. Protect her, like I know you will.” He looked at Kailvan again, knowing that this could be the last time he would see him. “I am sorry for how I treated you.” He rushed forward with Kulja towards the queen, and Kailvan, carrying the princess, with keke rushed towards the cover of the nearby marsh.

“My queen, you shall answer for your crimes.”

“Ah Ris, d’oth though truly believe that I shall be the one to pay when I have unimaginable…. Are you glowing?”

Ris charged the queen with Kulja jumping into the air, his spear aimed straight for the queen. The queen whipped out a gem, which started to glow brightly. All of a sudden, between the queen and Ris was a giant, black dragon.

The dragon immediately started spitting out blue fireballs at the two of them. Kulja, having been in the air, and a trained dragon warrior, avoided the fireballs with ease. Ris was less fortunate, with the fireballs colliding with him in full force. But….. He appeared unscathed.”

“You dare defy my gellune by surviving that attack?” The queen looked at him with skepticism.

“Guard me, Tamokuaht, I take my leave. This city has fallen anyway. Time to pay a visit to my lovely home of Bigantria.” The dragon takes a defensive stance. Ris charges once more, but the dragon is easily able to knock him down to the ground.

Within moments, the crusade of the city was done, the airships gone, along with the queen, and the dragon disappeared into a portal above.

“We should probably follow after them to the marsh…”

“What did she mean about pay a visit to Bigantria? Is she going to destroy the kingdom she rules?” A look of alarm crossed RIs’s face.

“Do you think we should go to….”

Before Kulja could finish that sentence, an onslaught of mist monsters surrounded them, likely thanks to the defective smog remove in the city.

“If a gellunes attack could not stop me, what thinks any of you minor monsters can!” Ris was empowered by his current state of mind. Approximately 20 monsters surrounded him. He made quick work of all 20 of them within minutes. Kulja barely could get a kill with how quickly Ris moved through them.

“Ris, at some point, we need to talk about why you are glowing like this, and how I can help.”

“Agreed, but some other time. I need to defend my home.”

---------

In the marshes, Keke was working hard on his spell to wake the queen from her sleep.

Keke grunted in frustration. “I am not a curer, this isn’t my wheelhouse. And whoever’s magic did this, they are much stronger than me. Unfathomably strong. I am a bug to be squashed in comparison.” His voice quivered, his frustration more than evident.

“It’s okay Keke, you can just keep working at it….”

Kailvan spotted the girl out of the corner of his eye. “Are you following us?”

The girl giggled. “You need someone who is a white wizard to deal with this, step aside my dark friend.”

The girl worked for a minute and commented, “Wow this is powerful magic, but if I…”

Within seconds, the eyes of the princess shot open. Kailvan dove to her side. “Princess… Princess are you okay?”

She looked like a newborn puppy, just opening her eyes for the first time. “I…. I think I am okay? But…. My gellunes, I no longer feel their presence. What has happened to me?”

“We’ve got a lot to talk to you about… But you can thank…”

Kailvan peered around looking for the little girl to point out to the princess, but she was gone.

I got burned...so that's not SAR. Lethal consequences if I perform any actions the next two nights.

Remains to be seen whether I'll automatically die since I technically have to move groups every night
Could a loophole be blocking/jailing you?

Could a loophole be blocking/jailing you?
Mods said it was a passive vs active ability dilemma, and the best thing would be to not submit and action and see what happened. Dunno if a blocking loophole would work or not tbh, seems like it would though.

Youre saying youre a pair of neutral masons but have the power to kill people...and yet you/allie have only left the pack once to attempt a kill on SAR? What were the details of the attack against you, again?

The character stares straight out of the page, at you, yes you. “I am talking about the game we are a part of and the musings we are providing for a bunch of health field inclined people (and 1 pilot). Maybe they want to hear a nice little pop culture reference, that brings them into the moment of the witchcraft of the moment. Maybe they want to escape their realities and invest themselves within us, the characters. But no, you have to ruin it, don’t you.”
4th wall break! :heckyeah:
