Act 1, Scene 11: The plan begins….
Giving a small amount of background to the following scenes. There is going to be intrigue, there is going to be betrayal, there is going to be DEATH, there is going to be attacks (yes, even the mod was attacked too ), and there will be tears shed. This will likely be the most heartbreaking, frustrating write up yet, so be prepared.
We begin our scene on the docks at the hotel in Uropt. The princess, the 2 remaining members of the Band of Bards, and Ris were all ready. Everyone was silent, clearly no one wanting to remember the conversation from earlier.
They boarded the boat, and the inner monologues of the players started playing out in their heads.
Ris’s inner monologue: “I can think for myself, I am not always a moral compass. Sure, I may take things more black and white, but I have taken oaths that they never had to. I have promised to be honorable. And look where that has gotten me. On a boat stealing in the slums of a scum filled town, trying to protect a princess who is constantly in danger. Sure that kid might have helped us. But he was in the wrong originally, he stole the princess originally. Even if it was under the orders of a King of another nation. But I have loyalties to my queen. How dare I think to even question any of her decisions. I am a lowly knight, I cannot understand the politics and thought process a queen must go through. I must just focus on my task, protect the princess, and that will get me through.”
Princess’s inner monologue: “What am I doing on this ship? I am a princess, if I was discovered being involved in thievery in this town of all places. But I must do it to help out Emp, we are here only because of him. Although, if Kailvan wouldn’t treat me like a little child with kid gloves, I would never be here in the first place. I would be in Lubertia, likely talking to my mom at this point. But instead I am here stealing. For a good cause. And it helps Kailvan’s friend. But who cares about Kailvan, he’s just a womanizing pig. Even if there is sometimes more to him. I wonder what Kailvan is up to right now…”
By the time both of them had finished their monologuing, they were at the location of the shopkeeper. They quietly snuck into the house and Krammet, the new leader of the Band of Bards whose weapon of choice was the scimitar, instructed them to search through the boxes quickly. They were only looking for about two minutes when footsteps started coming from down the stairs. Krammet muttered loudly “Hide.”
Everyone found a decent hiding spot. Except the princess, who was frozen in space, unable to move. The figure appeared from the shadows of the overhang of the stairs to reveal…. Physician Iji?
“Princess what are you doing in this place?”
“I ummmm. We ummmmm….”
Krammet came out of a darkened corner. “We need a medicine that he refuses to part with to save our friend without reviving the forest of evil and all the other petrified creatures within it.”
“I will take care of it and get it for you all. Just leave at once. Meet me at my abode, the princess knows where it is.”
“Physician Iji, why are you here?”
The shopkeepers gruff voice echoed down the stairs. “Iji, come back to bed, I still have something for you.”
“Go! I will deal with him.”
The man in the leather jacket chuckled and muttered under his breath, “I am sure you will.” Before leaving the house with the others.
They arrived at his residence and sat in his upstairs observatory, waiting for him to arrive.

Back in Bigantria, the two bounty hunters from the previous night approached the castle for their audience with the queen.
“What do you think the queen wants with us?”
“I’d imagine it’s a bounty. Since you know, she called the two best bounty hunters in the land.”
“You’re hilarious, your brazen idiot. I meant who, not what. And you know that.”
“Well if you meant that, wouldn’t it make more sense to say that?” The man seemed quite entertained by his taunting of the woman, who is clearly not used to anything but kind words.
“You’re insufferable.” As she turned away from the man, a dark wizard caught her eye. “That bastard.”
She went into a full sprint towards the direction the dark wizard was headed. She rounded the corner, and immediately swung her axe his way. Ice shattered immediately, he had blocked the axe with a make shift ice shield.
She stared him down. “You attacked us, unprovoked. And now I will kill you and take whatever worthless possessions you have on you.”
“Ah dear, I have no possessions on me. Nothing belongs to me, I am but a humble messenger, a servant. You see…”
“Enough.” A booming voice came from above. “I have been expecting you and your friend. Come up the stairs, and let us talk, we have a lot to discuss.”

Kailvan and his crew arrived at the cavern to find a wasteland. On the floor were hundreds of Lubertian soldiers, and hundreds of dark wizards. Each separate room was littered with more and more horrors. At the end of the cavern, the opening to Lubertia was found, which would lead them to worse horrors.

“My queen, I would just like to provide a status report of our efforts in Lub….”
“Don’t you see we have company? There is a more important matter that needs dealt with. I have heard rumors of those two nuissances I have talked about in Uropt. End them. I will deal with my dimwit daughter and her “friend”.
“It shall be done your grace.”
“And when you are done, I will meet you in Lubertia. Don’t keep me waiting.”
The woman headed off. “Now where were we. Ah yes, prices. Well…”

Physician Iji could be heard climbing the stairs. The group looked happily as he rounded the corner. “I have the medicine you need for your friend.” He handed it over to Krammet, who immediately passed it off to the only other remaining member of the Band of Bards. “You get this to Emp at once, meet me back in Bilundeam afterwards.”
“You’re not coming boss?”
“No, my services are needed elsewhere.” He looked at the princess, showing his intentions of helping her.
“Okay boss….. I will not let you down.”
“I know you won’t.” He placed his hand on the shoulder of the lad. “You have always been my favorite, I have complete faith in you.”
The Band of Bards member exited the building. Phyisician Iji turned to the remaining group. “So princess, you want to return to Bigantria to talk some sense with your mother, yes?”
“Yes, I need to help her, something is not right in her head, and I know I can help her…”
“Well, you are going to have to get there unnoticed. Luckily, there is a path straight from here to the temple. Follow me.”
Iji pressed a button, and the telescope folded in on itself, and opened a hole in the floor, leading to a ladder. Physician Iji led the way down the stairs and to an area far below the city.
“This is a tram system that leads straight into the castle. It will allow you to go in unnoticed, and talk to the queen without outside influences.” He smiled. “But there is one small caveat….. The tram system is controlled by… giant bugs.”
All of a sudden, a giant cockroach looking bug, carrying a buggy below it, rushed past on the wall above them. It stopped in front of them, allowing them to jump aboard. First, the princess jumped aboard. Then, Ris followed suit. As Krammet was about to board, he felt something pierce his spine. A sword, shining with a bright cyan aura around it. He fell to the floor.
Immediately, Iji pushed a lever, and the cockroach like being was off. The woman looked at the physician sword in hand. “Now, that was a poor move. He severed the turtle like head from Iji’s body, ending him once and for all.
“I wish the queen would eventually put me on a worthwhile task.” She took her sword and stabbed backwards with it, to stab a crawling Krammet in the face. “Always disappointed in me, and never approves of my fine work. I guess I must simply do better.”

The princess and Ris were traveling in the buggy, with no issues, other than minds lost in terrible thoughts and heavy hearts. They arrived without a word at the basement entrance to the castle. They got out and walked into an entrance hall outside of the tram area. They took about 20 steps in, but then two gates shot up from the floors, one behind them and one in front of them.
“Princess I am so sor….”
He couldn’t finish as he and the princess were knocked unconscious by something overhead,

When the princess awakened, she was before the queen.
“My sweet daughter, what has happened to you? You have given me such a fright by being gone. I swear I shall deal with those criminals that took you.”
“Mother… I have heard awful rumors regarding an invasion of Lubertia done by your hands.”
“Oh sweety, no. You don’t know the information that I have heard. You see, Lubertia had been planning to take over our nation for the longest time. Those animals final had amassed a plan for an attack on Bigantria, so I was forced to do a preemptive strike. I am sorry you thought it was like that.”
“I do not believe you mother.”
The sweetness in her mother’s voice drained away. “Well, it doesn’t really matter what you believe, as soon you will be no more.
Someone behind her said some words in a foreign language. All of a sudden, her mind was lost into sleep.
“Good, now, get this worthless, impersonation of a daughter out of my sight. Take her gellunes, provide me with their power, and the plan shall begin. Starting with that terrible Lubertian King. Once he falls…. It shall be a domino effect.
“As you wish, my highness.”
Dead is Ziggy, Physician Iji, Villager, who could heal one person each night
Dead is Barkley, Krammet, Initially minor antagonist whose affiliation changed to villager by perspective from write ups, who could steal items from one person each night.
It is day 6. Deadline is set for 11 pm est. There are 27 people eligible to vote.
