I'm cooking up something right now that I would like to go in the lounge if you want to look it over or maybe co-mod? I doubt it's super epic but it's a little more than the typical. Maybe you could add some ideas if you're feeling creative :)

We.are an EOE moderator..all forums are welcome, but in- forum members are considered first ( including frequent visitors here).
We request applicants make recommendations for others they think should play.

the opposite of a normal MMI I assume

untrustworthiness, recklessness, sociopathic tendencies, bloodlust...

LIS, didn't want to de-rail the Orange/Black WW game, but did want to discuss this.

I actually do believe there is a legitimate reason (not mid-game adjusting) to why most of the games are coming down to last few players..

And it is because I kind of agree with @DocEspana a little.

I think pre-vet WW has become formulaic (not in negative way, just as an observation). We have evolved a fairly standard recipe for these games, game size around 20-30, 5-6 wolves, seers, blockers, protecters, rez, wolf abilities, certain roles with deception etc.

Obviously it was not purposeful, but as we have borrowed what works game to game, although there are often new twists, details, and mechanics, the core of how our games go is fairly standardized, and that gives a fairly standard result.

I mean once the original wolves are eliminated, which takes a while during which info is gathered, there are usually one or two converts who are much more difficult to find as the seer roles are usually eliminated early, or they are unseerable, and that gets you to endgame. I don't think we need any nefarious or convoluted explanation. Sure if the wolves are getting obliterated early, many times and extra conversion is necessary and that is the most balancing… personally I find even that isn't necessary.

NOt that it matters, but that is my theory. We have created our own genre with its own boundaries etc.

I still wonder what is the right % of wolf victories though. If the game always gets down to the last 3, wolves should win 33% of those battles mathematically, and that seems fine with me. To me it is not the number of players in the game, but that each side should find it equally difficult to get to victory, have some obstacles they have to overcome.

That is all. Just some random musings.

Simply just modified title, mine still won't be ready for next game, but probably should be ready to go in 2-3 games...
 
WW 201 is pretty much ready to go... I just have to iron out a thing or two

then I will put up sign ups...

I would like a newb 2.0 as well. It would be nice to get one more practice round (even though I have played several normal games....including all stars, where I honestly had no idea what I was getting myself into...I just wanted to play WW.)
 
I think you could play 10 "newbie" games and still not be mentally ready to play with the veterans.

My game's ready to go, but I'm not sure I want to start it yet with the Arrow game starting tomorrow.

Mine will be open, but I'll need only truly committed players, due to the nature of the mechanics, otherwise it'll slow everything down.
