I think they are good if you are shooting for the Top 40. Not so good if you are shooting for the top 10.

Work on getting good letters of recommendation and try to have at least an abstract published during interviews.

Any body have idea about southern illinois program, is it good program.
Also anybody can give idea about the ID career after graduation like job market, salaries etc...

Any opinions/thoughts on how you'd rank the following irrespective of geographical preference?

- Drexel
- Cooper
- JMH/UM
- Stony Brook
- Downstate
- MCW
- Westchester
- NS/LIJ
- Rochester

hey, from those programs i only went to drexel and jmh/um, and i think jmh/um is better, is a bigger program and you will see plenty of variety at jackson, from research standpoint i think both of them are kind of the same, mostly clinical programs.

Hi among above programs.. I think drexel, LIJ and downstate are worse... In drexel, all attending a are recent graduate.. Not much experience, not academic program, no research opportunities...
Downstate, lot of work.. Very busy program..

Definitely U of Rochester>>rest as far as prestige/academics/research opportunities

Hi just wanted to get your opinion. I can't decide between these programs. I was wondering if you can give your 2 cents about each if you have time:

Mayo Clinic - rochester
WashU - St. Louis
BIDMC - Boston
UPMC

Thanks!

hi! i went to washU, BID and UPMC . It really depends on which area of ID you want to work, if there is any preferences for you to work with someone in particular within those programs. All of them are very strong university programs. Also depends on where do you want to leave: big city ( boston) vs st louis or pittsburgh. It is really hard for me as well to rank this programs. what is your opinion on them so far.

How'd the match go for everyone??
Going to Univ of Maryland :-D

Yeah what a long past few months. Hope folks get their choices

I'll be going to Tulane. Very thanksful
