38 IVs on the list. Still sitting at zero. Applied to about 90. I can see the season is peaking though.. Hoping for the best next week.
Hey Did you get interview date confirmation from Texas A&M. I emailed but no response yet. Unable to reach coordinator.
Going to voice mail.
Thank you
Has anyone heard anything from either of the Detroit programs?
Thanks for the input! Not yet. At least at DMC, they are still busy with their new fellows, and from what I heard, they will go over apps either next week or closer to the end of the month.
Congrats! have a very good friend in the program and she loves it. Very hands-on, excellent training according to her.Just discovered this forum!
IV from East Carolina on 8/6
Thanks Leo... that's encouraging.
Not sure if this is appropriate for this thread... Inv from a purely pulm program - Bridgeport 8/11...
Have modified the list a bit to add separate CCM and PM... hope that's okay

Still not even one IV ... rejections from Emory ..Yale ..MUSC. ..U of Cincinnati. .
Doesn't look like a good season for me at all!
I MG..need H or J 1 visa.. community program. .decent LORs..1 publication 2 meeting posters..applied on 22nd JULY
Be brutally honest.. Need to start planning alternate career paths right??
Best part: they're paying for the hotel in full...$100 saved!+ Rochester - looks like they're calling first
I doubt many will encounter this (sorry)...but already having to make cancellations because of scheduling conflicts. A few thoughts:
CCF vs. UNC
CCF - website is incredible. The last 1.5 years you can tailor the program to your specifications, they have "tracks on tracks on tracks..." for everything. Pretty impressive website, best one yet. But, and I know this doesn't mean much, reading the last few years threads, there is so much hype about CCF, everyone talking about it, and then I look at the fellows and about 90% are IMGs. If you take offense to that, grow up. Just the implications being...impressive people interviewed (based on the threads) and seemed to have chosen to go elsewhere. Why?
UNC - great hype again on previous threads. Great match list of fellows. Website weak. Nothing stands out, but seems to have great word of mouth.
MUSC vs. UCLA
I'm choosing UCLA because I want to try interviewing west coast (applied everywhere, only gotten 1 from west). But I am sad to not be able to go interview at MUSC as the program looks awesome, great fellow match list, and lots of SDN hype in previous threads.
FYI, MUSC only gave me 2 interview dates.
Welcome any constructive thoughts on these 4 programs to help a fellow interviewer make smart decisions...
Called to let me know they were going to e-mail me ..Hey Leo did URMC call on cell phone or send an email or both?
