Winnie the Pooh, Christopher Robin and their forest friends are "seriously troubled individuals" according to Canadian researchers.

Far from being the innocent world it appears to be on the surface, Hundred Acre Wood is, say the reseachers, a place where psycho-social problems are not recognised or treated.

In a report published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal, the specialists suggest AA Milne's characters would be better off with psycho-active drugs and more parental guidance...

where is science going to? We now analyze fictional cartoon characters for little children. Its no surprise that someone would write that, it is a surprise that someone thought it was a good enough idea to publish it

those wacky Canadians are up to it again!

I think it's hilarious.

I'd take a study like that anytime over the pile of other crappy studies I have to appraise.

Don't get your panties in a bunch.

This is hilarious. Tigger's got bipolar disorder and Eeyore's clinically depressed. Piglet's got PTSD, Roo's gonna become addicted to heroin and Kanga's too stupid to figure it out. Pooh's got OCD and Christopher Robin's just hallucenating the whole damn thing.

Seriously, I would pay to see an updated version of Pooh on the big screen.

You could cast Bow Wow to be Roo, Richard Simmons to be Tigger (or not), and the guy from Monk to be Pooh.

I'm in the campus library, and people are wondering why I'm laughing!:laugh::laugh::laugh:
